Supervised Probation

A felony sentencing will usually require a period of supervised probation

A felony sentencing will usually require a period of supervised probation from one to five years. Your Probation Officer makes sure that all terms and conditions of the Sentence Order and Probation Contract are completed. A monthly visit to the Probation Officer is scheduled to review your progress and discuss problems. It is your responsibility to show your Probation Officer that you are in compliance with all the obligations which include the following:

  1. Making monthly payments of court costs.
  2. Attending any required classes.
  3. Performing public service hours.
  4. Testing negative for alcohol and drugs.
  5. Not violating any laws.

Supervised probation costs $50.00 per month and the objective is to satisfy your probation as soon as possible for either an early termination or modification to an unsupervised status. A failure to comply with probation can result in additional consequences in court. My job is not finished with the sentencing. I will continue to work with you until all the requirements of probation are successfully completed and you are free from supervision.

Call me (970-871-7400) to discuss your questions, needs and how I can help you with supervised probation.
